Coco and I reside in a country club community in Boca Raton, Florida. It seems that almost everyone here has an adorable, fluffy, small dog like Coco. Coco is a twelve-year-old Havapoo, a perfect mix of Havanese and Poodle. She’s a healthy ten pounds of love and watches her figure carefully. Despite her age, she looks much younger—or so I'm often told—and I jokingly credit it to her "having work done". In reality, I believe it's because we live in paradise.
Coco has a multitude of friends, and thanks to her, I've made wonderful friendships as well. Yet, she's undeniably the popular one. She gets along with every dog she meets, even those who are less sociable. That's just Coco's nature—she's the best. I know every pet parent thinks their dog is the best, but Coco truly is exceptional. Our daily routine is an important part of our lives. We walk along the main community street, past the fragrant flowers that Coco loves to smell and by the fish-filled lake before turning around. She absolutely knows when I say, "Let's turn around.”

We often encounter her canine pals and my human friends. There's always conversation, and that's when Coco lays down patiently because she knows we'll be there for a while. I can almost hear her thinking, "Mommy likes to talk." When the socializing is over, we head back home for some quality time together. Sometimes we play ball, but more often, we sit on the couch and simply enjoy each other's company.
However, once we’re home and I start to work, Coco faces a dilemma. She ends up sitting on the floor next to my desk, gazing up at me with those expressive, limpid black eyes. She's not happy laying on the floor—not happy at all. She tries to be patient, but when she realizes that she'll be down there and not on my lap, she decides to take action. First, she barks softly. Then she places her paws on my knees, looking up imploringly. When these tactics don't work, she lies down again, this time with the most dramatic, forlorn expression. My little Havapoo is quite the actress!
She knows me so well. She understands that I can't stand to see her unhappy, and inevitably, I relent and scoop her onto my lap. This scenario has played out for years. Whether I'm working, cooking, or eating, Coco is at my feet, yearning to be closer. It's so
sad. Perhaps she's spoiled, but don't we all love to indulge our petite puppies? It's part of the joy of having them in our lives.
As my work hours grew longer, so did Coco's time spent on the floor, and her silent pleas became harder to ignore. My friends shared similar stories—their small dogs were also dissatisfied being relegated to the floor. When we all got together, the scene became chaotic with all the little ones attempting to climb onto laps.

Determined to find a solution, I turned to my best friend, Maria, who is brilliant and always seems to have the perfect answer to my dilemmas. We discussed the predicament seriously. Maria began researching existing products: elevated dog seats, luxury pet furniture, adjustable dog seats—anything that would allow Coco and other small dogs to sit comfortably at table height. To our surprise, there was zilch, zero, nada—nothing on the market met our needs.
We couldn't believe that there was no suitable luxury highchair for small breeds that would seamlessly integrate into our lifestyles. So what does any Boca lady, who plays tennis and golf, works out, and enjoys an active social life, do in such a situation--design a luxury elevated pet seat for small dogs.
And so, these two eccentric Boca ladies embarked on a mission. We envisioned an elevated pet seat for small dogs—one that was not only functional but also exuded the elegance and luxury befitting our petite companions. We went through dozens of prototypes, experimenting with different fabrics, materials, and designs. Our goal was to craft a piece of luxury pet furniture that would elevate our small dogs' experiences and allow them to be by our sides comfortably and safely and would fit elegantly in the nicest home.
Our breakthrough came when we met Eleonora, a talented designer who shared our vision. With her expertise, we refined our concept, focusing on creating an adjustable dog seat that was both stylish and practical. After nearly a year of dedication, collaboration, and countless iterations, we proudly introduced the My Petite Puppy Dream Seat—a luxury elevated dog seat specifically designed for small dogs up to 10 pounds.
The Dream Seat has transformed Coco's world. No longer does she have to gaze up at me from the floor with longing eyes. Now, she can sit comfortably at table height, whether I'm working at my desk, enjoying a meal, or entertaining guests. The elevated dog seat seamlessly blends with my home décor, and its mobile design allows me to move it easily from room to room.
But the Dream Seat hasn't just changed Coco's life—it has made a significant impact on mine and on the lives of many other pet parents in our community. Friends who once struggled with the same issue have embraced this luxury pet furniture, grateful for a solution that keeps their petite puppies happy and close.

Coco is happier than ever, and her contentment brings me immense joy. Seeing her comfortably perched beside me as I go about my day reaffirms why we embarked on this journey. We didn't just create a product; we enhanced the bond between pet and owner, acknowledging that our small dogs deserve the very best.
So, from floor to family, the Dream Seat has truly changed Coco's world—and mine. It's a testament to what can happen when love, necessity, and a bit of ingenuity come together. Our petite puppies enrich our lives in countless ways, and with the Dream Seat, we're able to return the favor by enriching theirs.
With love,
Susan Weinstein
