Return and Refund Policy for My Petite Puppy

We want you and your puppy to be delighted with every purchase. However, we understand that sometimes a return or exchange may be necessary. Please review our policy below, which applies to all products purchased directly from MyPetitePuppy.com.
General Conditions for All Returns & Exchanges

All returns and exchanges must be authorized by My Petite Puppy. Please email info@mypetitepuppy.com with your order number, product details, and reason for return or exchange. We will respond with authorization instructions and the return shipping address.

Items must be returned in unused, pristine, and fully resellable condition, with all original tags, packaging, accessories, and gift boxes (if applicable). Returned products showing signs of use, wear, alteration, washing, stains, odors, or damage caused by the customer will not be accepted.

For items shipped in a signature gift box or special packaging, the original gift presentation must be intact and returned as received.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance, as My Petite Puppy is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

Shipping fees, gift-wrapping charges, and any other ancillary charges are non-refundable.

Once we receive your return, we will inspect it within 7 business days. Upon approval, refunds (minus any applicable fees) will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Unauthorized returns or returns received outside the specified timeframe will not be processed and may be refused or returned at the customer’s expense.

In the case of manufacturing defects or damages in transit, you must notify us with supporting photographs within the timeframe specified for that product category (see below). We reserve the right to repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
Specific Product Categories

Dream Seat (Luxury Elevated Dog Seat)

Returns:

Timeframe: Within 10 days of delivery, as indicated by the carrier’s tracking information.

A 10% restocking fee applies due to the handmade nature and small-batch craftsmanship of the Dream Seat.

The seat must be in unused condition, fully resellable, with all original packaging, cushions, accessories, and protective materials.

Report any manufacturing defects or shipping damages within 3 days of delivery with clear photos.

Exchanges:

Timeframe: Within 10 days of delivery.

Exchanges are only allowed for a different fabric color (if available).

The returned seat must meet the same conditions as above (unused, resellable, original packaging).

Standard 10% restocking fee applies to the returned unit. Any price differences for alternate colors will be adjusted accordingly

Other Products (Beds, Blankets, Carriers, Apparel, Gift Sets, & Accessories)

Returns:

Timeframe: Within 10 days of delivery.

Items must be unused, with original tags, packaging, and gift boxes when applicable.

Report any defects or damage within 3 days of delivery. Include photos for a prompt resolution.

Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method, minus any applicable restocking fees as determined by the product category (if any).

Exchanges (Apparel & Sizing-Related Items):

Timeframe: Within 3 days of delivery.

Exchanges for a different size or color are allowed only if inventory is available.

Before ordering apparel, please consult our size charts to minimize the need for exchanges.

Returned items must be unused, resellable, with original tags and packaging.

Any additional shipping charges for exchanged items are the customer’s responsibility, except in cases of confirmed defects or shipping errors on our part.

Damaged or Defective Items

Inspect your order upon receipt. If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact info@mypetitepuppy.com within 3 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the damage or defect.

Upon verification, we will provide instructions and, at our discretion, offer a replacement, repair, or a refund. For defective Dream Seats, please note the 10% restocking fee will be waived if the item is confirmed defective.
Hygiene & Quality Assurance

For the health and safety of our community, we strictly enforce our returns policy on hygiene items (e.g., blankets, certain toys). Items that appear used, soiled, or otherwise unsanitary upon inspection will be denied.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges that we believe are misused, fraudulent, or abusive of our policy.
Processing Times

Returns and exchanges will be processed promptly, but please allow up to 7 business days from receipt of the returned product for the inspection and another 10 business days after approval to issue the refund or ship the replacement item.
